We are seeking a fun, energetic, and dedicated Summer Camp Teacher to join our team!

At The Learning Experience, "happy happens here"-and summer is one of the most exciting times of the year. Our Summer Camp program is designed for school-age children (5-10 years old), filled with hands-on activities, outdoor play, themed weeks, and unforgettable experiences.

We are looking for someone who loves working with older children, thrives in a high-energy environment, and can create a summer full of fun, learning, and adventure.

As a Summer Camp Teacher, you will:

• Create a safe, fun, and engaging environment for school-age children
• Lead summer camp activities including games, crafts, STEM projects, and outdoor play
• Plan and execute themed weekly activities that keep children excited and involved
• Supervise and actively engage with children during indoor and outdoor play
• Build strong relationships with children, families, and team members
• Communicate with parents about their child's daily activities and experiences
• Ensure all licensing and safety standards are consistently met

Qualifications:

• Experience working with school-age children preferred (camp, childcare, or education setting)
• High school diploma or GED required
• CDA, ECE coursework, or related degree preferred but not required
• Must meet all state and local childcare licensing requirements
• Ability to supervise groups of children in both indoor and outdoor settings

Compensation: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
