The Pleasant Hill R-III School District is seeking

Summer Daycare Aides

for the Summer of 2026

Deadline for Applications: Until filled

Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age and a high school graduate. The qualified candidate must be a

person with patience, flexibility, good communication and public relation skills, and basic

computer knowledge. Previous childcare experience preferred. Certification in CPR and

First Aid preferred, but not required.

Term of Position: Seasonal from May 26 to August 24, 2026

Salary: Starting rate of $15.10 per hour

The successful candidate will:

• Want to make a difference in a child's life by being a positive role model.
• Help provide children with a safe and loving environment.
• Keep children continually motivated, active, and involved.
• Enjoy working with children grades Kindergarten through 6th grade.
• Be able to sustain long periods of sitting / standing.
• Be able to accompany children on field trips.
• Be able to engage in physically active games with the children.
• Work before and after school hours and all-day during summer months.
• Attend any required on-going training.
