Join our team as a Summer Instructor for a 40-hour weekly position from June 2nd to August 8th, with training from June 2nd-16th.
We seek energetic, creative individuals passionate about teaching and making a difference in young minds. In this role, you'll lead students through diverse subjects like Language Arts, Math, STEAM, and Cultural Enrichment, fostering a safe, engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, selecting and adapting materials, engaging students in activities, providing feedback, supporting individual needs, maintaining records, and evaluating student progress.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in education or related field preferred; experience and coursework considered. Skills needed are teamwork, lesson planning, creativity, flexibility, classroom management, cultural competency, and trauma-informed approaches. Prior classroom experience with diverse populations is a plus.
