Summary:
The Summer Helper will assist in daily property maintenance. Summer helpers do not need prior experience but will require a willingness to learn. The Summer Helper program begins on:
Monday, June 8th through Friday, August 7th. - Position is open to Internal Candidates Only
Essential Functions:
Reports to the Resident Manager and the Maintenance Technician on-site.
Regular attendance
Responsibilities are as follows:
Maintains grounds in excellent condition, including all common areas, parking lots, mailbox building, pool area, and dumpster areas
Following task lists according to each property assigned
Works approximately 20 hours a week, Monday - Friday
Other Functions:
Performs related duties consistent with the scope and intent of the position
Mental and Physical Demands:
Ability to walk, kneel, climb, stand, stoop, crouch, and reach when performing light maintenance and office activities.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Core Competencies/Qualifications:
Reliable transportation (driver's license preferred). Work permit (if under 18 years old)
Education, training, skills, and experience necessary to carry out assignments.
Self-motivated, punctual, detail oriented, and able to work independently.
