Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Helper (Seasonal – Summer)
Location: Watertown, SD Company: Active Heating, Inc.
Looking for a hands-on summer opportunity? Active Heating is hiring a Commercial HVAC Sheet Metal Helper to support our installation team on job sites throughout the Watertown area, with occasional travel opportunities.
This is a great position for students or anyone interested in exploring a career in the trades while gaining real-world experience in the HVAC industry.
What You’ll Do
Assist with installation of commercial HVAC ductwork (sheet metal)
Transport materials, tools, and equipment throughout job sites
Support lead installers with holding, sealing, and taping ductwork
Unbox equipment and help stage materials for installation
Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
Follow all company safety guidelines and PPE requirements
What We’re Looking For
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders or lifts
Basic hand tool knowledge is a plus
Reliable transportation and strong attendance
Team-first attitude and willingness to learn
Commitment to safety on every job site
Pay & Schedule
$17–$18/hour + overtime opportunities
Full-Time | Summer Seasonal
Based in Watertown, SD with some travel to job sites
