General Description

This is responsible work providing administrative aid to caseworkers in AFS.

Duties include database updating, front desk coverage, and other administrative duties as assigned.

Duties & Responsibilities

Answers phones, voicemails and respond to email requests

Provides clients who walk in or call with information about programs and services within the city and other community agencies

Assist in collecting, scanning and uploading documents for the programs and services offered by AFS

Enter data on client's portal

Schedule client's appointments to meet with case workers

Filing documents as needed

Supervision Received

Works under the direction of the AFS Manager

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Must be able to get to and from various work locations.

First aid and CPR certification preferred.

A minimum of one-year experience working in an office setting.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
