Summer Intern – Human Resources (Paid)
Position Title: Human Resources Intern

Job Type: Full-time (40 hours per week), non-exempt, hourly
Internship Duration: June 15-August 7, 2026
Work Schedule: Hybrid/remote with at least two days in office required per week
Location: Reston, VA
POSITION SUMMARY
This internship will offer practical experience across core HR functions at a lean, global organization, contributing to the policies, processes, and programs that shape how FS-ISAC attracts, develops, and supports its people.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Support the design and delivery of programs that enhance culture, performance, and employee engagement
- Contribute to projects that support organizational growth, process improvement, operational effectiveness, and talent management priorities
- Assist with the review and updating of HR policies, programs, and employee-facing materials
- Contribute to talent and onboarding initiatives, including process design and coordination
- Conduct benchmarking and research to inform HR policy and program decisions
- Present work and findings to senior leadership at the end of the program
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be a rising junior or senior currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program, with a concentration in human resources, business administration, organizational psychology, or a closely related discipline
- Strong interest in human resources, employee experience, talent management, and/or business operations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This is a hybrid internship. The intern must report to Reston, VA office two days per week. Interns are expected to maintain a professional work environment and be able to perform the essential functions of the role.
