Agency Overview The Department of Revenues core mission is to collect the revenues required to support the business of the Commonwealth to make a difference in the lives of children by enforcing the financial responsibilities of parenthood and to assist Massachusetts cities and towns in sound and efficient fiscal management.

BureauDivision Overview The role of the Office of Internal Audit and Risk Management IARM is to foster the efficient achievement of the mission and goals of the agency. The unit partners with managers and business process owners to manage risks identify operational improvements strengthen controls safeguard data and other key resources and foster compliance with laws regulations and policies. Specifically in the coming year Risk Managements RM Enterprise Risk Management ERM program will be significantly expanding. RM is deploying a new comprehensive Governance Risk and Compliance GRC tool and building agency-wide risk registers with risk liaisons across DORs divisions.

Position Summary The co-opintern will support risk management activities including building risk registers and supporting the teams use of a new GRC tool Standard Fusion.
