Job Purpose: 

We are seeking motivated individuals for our Summer Internship Program at XL Parts & The Parts House. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of the automotive parts industry. As an intern, you will have the chance to work closely with experienced professionals, contribute to real projects, and develop valuable skills that will prepare you for a successful career in this dynamic field.

Key Job Responsibilities: 

• Working within the designated department in daily tasks
• Collaborating with leaders and other departments on projects
• Field rides and business acumen development
• Structured Mentorship opportunities
• Supporting other projects as directed by Senior Leadership

Requirements:

• Currently enrolled at a college or University with a GPA of a 3.0 or higher
• Able to be on-site at either our Jacksonville, FL or Houston TX office for the entirety of the 12-week program
• Demonstrated research and project management skills
• Automotive Industry experience is a plus

Environmental/Occupational Health and Physical Requirements:

In a typical 9-hour workday, employees are expected to adapt to a fast-paced work environment and can spend extended periods at a computer. Occasional lifting of 50 lbs. or more may be necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
