Summer Intervention Specialist Tutor

Non-Bargaining Position

AEA internal applications will be accepted online until 2:00 pm on 5/16/2026

Compensation: $25 per hour

Dates & Times: 3-hours a week for 8-weeks; specific dates to be determined

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Ohio Teaching License in the area:

• (K-12) Intervention Specialist

• CERI-certified structured literacy dyslexia interventionist and an IMSE Orton-Gillingham Certified Practitioner preferred

Responsibilities and Expectations:

• Perform all duties/responsibilities in accordance with Austintown Local School District Policy and Procedures
• Assist teaching staff in executing the Ohio State Standards
• Perform all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Special Education

Requirements: The following are required before starting the assignment

• Appropriate and valid Ohio teaching credential in the appropriate area
• Current favorable State and Federal background checks
• Negative drug screen
