OVERVIEW: The maintenance Crew is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of Camp Redwood Glen, including its grounds, buildings, vehicles, pool, and equipment. The crew ensures the camp runs efficiently, supports camp-wide events, and participates in daily devotionals.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Assist the Maintenance Crew Chief in maintaining camp efficiency and supporting the camp programClean and prepare buildings for campers and guests: dust, sweep, mop, disinfect bathrooms, clean mirrors, restock paper products, empty trash (with attention to recycling/compost), and replace light bulbsLock unused buildings before each session and check periodically to ensure they remain secureSupport scheduled programming with building set-ups and evening program preparations (e.g., campfire, sleep-out locations)Maintain cleanliness and organization in public restrooms, laundry rooms, and living quartersRestock cabins with cleaning supplies as requestedAssist with grounds keeping, landscaping, painting, and moving equipment or furnishingsKeep the Maintenance Building clean and tools properly storedPerform daily trash runs and general maintenance tasksHelp with camper luggage and needs on opening and closing daysAssist with AV equipment setup as neededMaintain inventory of suppliesActively participate in evening programs, camp activities, and spiritual formationModel Christ-like behavior and service for campers and staffImmediately report any suspected child abuse to the Assistant Camp Director and follow proper reporting proceduresOther related duties as requiredAll staff may be called upon at any time to assist in the total operation of the camp.
