General Summary:
Classes held at Silver Spring Intermediate School, 7:45 am - 11:45 am (Class times 8:15 am, 9:15 am, 10:15 am)
Makerspace Invention, Grades 2-4: This class provides hands-on, creative ways to design, experiment, build, and invent as you deeply engage in science, engineering, and tinkering.
Pickleball, Grades 2-4: Join us this summer to teach and enjoy Pickleball that provides fun and exercise!
Classes held at Hamilton High School, 7:30 am - 11:30 am (Class times 8:00 am, 9:00 am, 10:00 am)
Chess & Games Galore, Grades 5-8: Teach the fundamentals of chess while showing individual strategies for success. Class also includes playing Pictionary, Pictureka, Mad Gab, Scrabble, Sequence, Uno, Skip-Bo and more.
Coding, Grades 5-8: In this class, students will be introduced to the core concepts of computer programming and use basic block-based coding.
Football, Grades 5-8: Are you ready for some football? Teach the fundamental skills of football: passing, catching, kicking and other general football skills. Instruct how to play two-on-two, three-on-three, and four-on-four.
Mix it Up, Grades 5-8: This class focuses on how to make kid-friendly snacks. Students will learn about healthy eating habits and easy ways to make snacks for the entire family.
TMS Promo, Grades 5-8: This four-week summer course provides middle school students with a supportive, small-group environment to strengthen essential skills in math, science, social studies, and ELA. Designed for students who need targeted instruction, the class focuses on personalized learning, skill-building, and confidence.
Qualifications: Certification by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction with a teaching license; Such alternatives to the qualifications as the Board of Education finds appropriate and acceptable.
