Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Meet the definition of "qualifications" pursuant to W. Va. Code 18A-4-8b and demonstrated competency through the state-approved competency test pursuant to W. Va. Code 18A-4-8e
• Complete all required county and WVDE trainings
• Successful completion of the interview process
• Criminal background check conducted pursuant to W. Va. Code 18-5-15c and/or 18A-3-10
• Must provide documentation of completed CPR class
• Ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities as contained in the job description, with or without reasonable accommodations
• Additional Minimum Requirements:
• Applicants who have recent unsatisfactory evaluations will not be eligible for consideration
• Applicants who demonstrate unsatisfactory interview performance are not eligible for consideration
• Applicants who receive unfavorable reference recommendations are not eligible for consideration
• Applicants who have been dismissed or who have had their contracts non-renewed for cause are not eligible for consideration

Summer Program 2026-2027 Dates: July 27th - 30th and August 3rd - 6th, 2026

Hours: 8:15 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.; completion of time sheet required; no compensation will be provided for forced closings.

Salary: Based on the 2026 - 2027 salary scale A, B, C, or De - commensurate with experience and education; paid through federal program funds.

Employment contingent on student enrollment.

Position may be cancelled during program dates dependent on student enrollment.
