Title: Summer Program Operations Support:

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM
Contract: Seasonal / Summer (temporary) May-August
Position Overview
We are seeking an Operations Support professional to support a summer program focused on inventory management, logistics coordination, shipment tracking, and claims resolution. This role will support day-to-day operations at a third-party manufacturing/copacker facility, ensuring smooth product flow, issue resolution, and on-time deliveries during peak seasonal demand.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Act as the primary point of contact for third-party copacker inventory tracking.
- Monitor inventory balances, production receipts, and available stock levels.
- Reconcile inventory against internal trackers and identify discrepancies.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to resolve shortages, overages, or timing issues.
Inbound & Outbound Logistics
- Track inbound raw materials and outbound finished goods.
- Monitor shipment status and proactively identify delays or delivery risks.
- Update shipment tracking information in internal systems.
- Coordinate with logistics partners, brokers, and internal teams for order closure and issue resolution.
- Support shipping documentation and logistics coordination.
Claims Management
- Manage claims related to lost, damaged, or billing discrepancies in shipments.
- Collect required documentation and submit claims for resolution.
- Coordinate with carriers and internal teams to investigate issues and secure credits when applicable.
- Maintain accurate records, reports, and claims documentation.
Operational Support
- Support reporting, data tracking, documentation, and process improvements.
- Assist with issue resolution across inventory, transportation, and fulfillment operations.
- Identify recurring operational issues and recommend process improvements.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience working with spreadsheets, trackers, and reporting tools (Excel preferred)
- Strong communication skills with internal teams and external partners
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to escalate issues appropriately
