Qualifications:

  • West Virginia Professional Teaching Certificate
  • Certified to Teach: Elementary Education K - 3
  • Complete all required county and WVDE trainings
  • Successful completion of the interview process
  • Plan and facilitate family engagement opportunities that support literacy, numeracy, student wellness, and academic success.
  • Conduct daily communication and outreach with families of enrolled students.
  • Coordinate and strengthen partnerships with community organizations that support students and families.
  • Maintain documentation of parent contacts, family engagement activities, and community partnerships.
  • Support the recruitment and retention of students and families in summer and extended learning opportunities.
  • Ability to perform the job duties and responsibilities as contained in the job description, with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Additional Minimum Requirements:

Summer Program 2026-2027 Dates: July 27th - 30th and August 3rd - 6th, 2026

Hours: 8:15 a.m. - 1:15 p.m.

Salary: $2,000.00 - paid through federal program funds. Contracted amount includes time required for preparation and end of program data compilation.

Employment contingent on student enrollment.

Position may be cancelled during program dates dependent on student enrollment.
