Job Description:
SALARY: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM - Part Time, Non-Benefited Position

REPORTS TO: Refuse Foreman or the DPW Commissioner. Priorities are established by the Refuse General Foreman, Director of Operations or the DPW Commissioner.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY: Supervises a staff of 5 to 10 Temporary Laborers
Duties and responsibilities:
Supervise and assist the Temporary Laborers in performing a variety of unskilled labor duties of which the following are typical examples: shoveling materials and leveling areas; loading and unloading supplies; cleaning litter and debris from streets and parking lots; mowing grass using hand or powered equipment; trimming shrubs and lower parts of trees along sidewalks; uses standard hand tools, i.e., shovels and small power tools, such as weed whackers, lawn mowers, sidewalk vacuums and hedge trimmers.
Work is performed outside and may be performed in adverse weather conditions.
Requirements:
Employee reports to: Recycling Depot, 301 Oak Hill Way, or other locations as determined by the Supervisor Summer Youth Program, Refuse General Foreman, Director of Operations or the DPW Commissioner.
