POSITION: Summer Program Teachers â 2 teachers, as needed, at Wirt County High School CONTRACT: June 8, 2026- July 16, 2026 â this includes up to one 8-hour prep day, up to one 8-hour closing day, and up to twenty-four 4 hour days for a total of 112 hours. A four day per week schedule shall be determined by building principal and shall exclude WV Day, June 19, 2026, and Independence Day, July 3, 2026. QUALIFICATIONS: WV Teaching Certification preference given to core secondary content Ability to analyze student data in order to provide credit recovery content Effective behavior management skills DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Contact and schedule targeted students Must be willing to train/learn electronic platform used for credit recovery Plan, implement and assess a credit recovery program for Wirt County High School students. * Maintain student data including but not limited to attendance, student progress, and credit recovery.
