Summer Renewal Intern

Working as a member of the Office for Parish Renewal, the Summer Renewal Intern is assigned to one Co-Implementation parish, assisting in the summer programming and renewal efforts in that parish. The intern acts as a temporary member of the Co-Implementation team at that parish. The Summer Renewal Intern also assists the Senior Manager for Renewal Resources in the area of content/resource organization, development, and alignment, taking on a portfolio of summer projects.

Responsibilities

• Invests approximately 15 hours per week in one Co-Implementation parish
  • Works as a member of the archdiocesan team in the parish
  • Assists with events, experiences, and ministry as needed
  • Attends meetings and engages in the decision making and implementing life of the parish
• Invests approximately 15 hours per week in a portfolio of summer renewal resource projects
  • Organizes office resources/content for more effective use and engagement
  • Aligns with SMRR resources/content across office teams
  • Collaborates in the development of content for future renewal workshops
• Other duties as a assigned by supervisor

Requirements (Education, experience, skill sets, etc.)

• Bachelor’s degree
• Currently enrolled in graduate studies in the areas of theology, ministry, or similar
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Comfort with innovation / creation

Preferred (Education, experience, skill sets, etc.)

• Spanish language competency

This position has an hourly range of $16.60 - $18.00. An employee’s pay within the salary/hourly range will be based on many factors including but not limited to: relevant education, qualifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and organizational needs.
