The Elkhorn Area School District is currently accepting applications for a 9th Grade Physical Education Teacher for our 6-week summer school at Elkhorn Area High School from June 8 through July 24. (no classes the week of June 29 - July 3).
Class times will run from 8:00 am - 9:55 am & 10:00 am - 11:55 am.
This course focuses on relevant, up-to-date concepts related to physical fitness, personal wellness, and lifetime activity. Activities in this class will be geared toward creating a greater understanding and appreciation of what achieving these goals can do for a person, and will be achieved by the student actively participating in various fitness activities, along with several team sports that will be a part of the class as well. Introduction of swimming skills and water safety skills is emphasised.
This is a temporary teaching position with no expectation of continued employment. There are no benefits associated with this position.
Candidates who receive a conditional offer of employment with the Elkhorn Area School District must successfully complete a background check, physical and tuberculosis test, and drug screening. Employment is contingent upon verification of work eligibility through E-Verify.
