We are seeking a Healthcare Construction Superintendent with a minimum of seven (7) years of hospital renovation experience. The Superintendent will be responsible for daily field operations and execution of work within active healthcare environments.

Client Details

Our client is a mid-sized General Contractor that has a strong background with Institutional construction projects (Health-care, Higher-Ed, etc). They have a strong network of repeat business because of the results they deliver.

Description

  • Direct all field operations on healthcare renovation projects.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and daily construction activities.
  • Develop and maintain short-term look-ahead schedules.
  • Ensure work complies with contract documents and quality standards.
  • Implement infection control and life safety requirements.
  • Coordinate shutdowns and utility interruptions.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and site inspections.
  • Maintain project documentation including daily reports.
  • Participate in project planning and phasing meetings.
  • Support AHCA inspections and project turnover activities.

Profile

  • Minimum 7 years hospital renovation experience.
  • Experience working in occupied healthcare facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of infection control barriers, ICRA requirements, and interim life safety measures.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
  • Excellent leadership and subcontractor management skills.
  • Experience with Procore or similar project management software preferred.
