Description

The Superintendent - $30M+ Healthcare Projects - Raleigh will be responsible for:

• • Lead all on-site construction activities and daily field operations.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel.
  • Develop and maintain short-term and long-term project schedules.
  • Ensure work is completed in accordance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of jobsite safety.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and proactively resolve field issues.
  • Manage site logistics, workforce planning, and material deliveries.
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, owners, architects, and design teams.
  • Monitor project progress and maintain accurate field documentation and reporting.
  • Lead punch-list activities, project closeout, and turnover processes.

Profile

The Superintendent - $30M+ Healthcare Projects - Raleigh will have:

• • Proven experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, sequencing, and field operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Experience leading subcontractors and managing multiple trades on-site.
  • Thorough understanding of jobsite safety standards and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and field reporting tools.

Job Offer

• • Base salary contingent on experience, ranging roughly $100,000-$150,000

Requirements 5+ years of construction Project Manager experience with a general contractor is required Experience on ground-up education, healthcare, and/or commercial construction projects is required Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or relevant degree preferred Applicable Project Management Software experience preferred Developed thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc. and their impact on project success Maintains good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with anyone from clients to subcontractors Must be a business-oriented person and act professionally when representing the employer at any level Local to Charlotte preferred, though relocators will be considered
