We are seeking a driven and experienced Superintendent to join our dynamic team in the Construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our construction projects, including managing project plans, supervising staff, and ensuring project completion within the set deadlines. This role requires a hands-on individual who has a strong background in project controls, safety leadership, environmental remediation, and construction management. Experience in the power generation industry, specifically with coal and ash in power plants, will be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all stages of project life cycle, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Manage the day-to-day operational aspects of construction projects.
• Develop and implement project controls, safety leadership, and environmental remediation strategies.
• Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and external contractors.
• Prepare and submit reports on the progress and status of each project.
• Resolve any problems that may arise, ensuring the project stays on track.
• Participate in the selection and management of construction materials and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including those related to coal and ash in power plants.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the power generation industry.
• Proven experience in project controls, safety leadership, environmental remediation, and construction management.
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines.
• Experience with coal, ash, and power plant projects is highly desirable.
• Excellent project management skills, including the ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to supervise and guide team members.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using project management software.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in challenging situations.
• A valid driver's license may be required.
