Superintendent
Salary: $150K–$160K
Job Summary
The Superintendent oversees daily jobsite operations to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards. This role leads field personnel, coordinates subcontractors, manages project schedules, and works closely with project teams to drive successful project execution on large commercial construction projects.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience supervising commercial construction projects
Experience in HVAC, Plumbing, or Mechanical (MEP) construction preferred
Experience managing large commercial construction projects valued at $5M–$10M+
Experience using construction management software; Procore preferred
Strong leadership and supervisory experience
Knowledge of commercial construction practices, scheduling, and safety standards
Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control
OSHA 30 certification
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily jobsite operations with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity
Develop and maintain project schedules to meet milestones and deadlines
Coordinate manpower, subcontractors, equipment, and materials to support project goals
Lead projects from startup through closeout, ensuring proper sequencing and coordination
Conduct routine jobsite safety inspections and enforce OSHA safety standards
Ensure work is completed according to project plans, specifications, and quality expectations
Maintain daily reports, time sheets, job logs, and project documentation using construction management software
Monitor project costs, subcontractor performance, and resource utilization
Lead, train, and support field crews while fostering accountability and teamwork
Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders
Promote a safe work environment and ensure compliance with company safety policies
