Originally formed through Anderson Mechanical Services, Inc. and Inspiration Plumbing Company, VMG brings decades of industry expertise to complex new construction, renovation, design-build, and commercial projects.As we continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations, coordinate crews and subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to VMG's high standards.What You'll DoLead Field OperationsOversee day-to-day jobsite operations from project startup through closeoutCoordinate field crews, subcontractors, equipment, and materials to keep projects movingDevelop and maintain project schedules, sequencing, and manpower plansMonitor productivity and ensure project milestones and deadlines are metParticipate in project meetings with clients, general contractors, and project partnersWork closely with Project Managers and other VMG team members to resolve field challengesDrive Safety & QualityPromote and enforce VMG and OSHA safety requirements on every jobsiteConduct routine jobsite inspections and proactively address potential hazardsEnsure installations meet project plans, specifications, codes, and VMG quality standardsIdentify field issues early and coordinate solutions to minimize delays and reworkMaintain accountability for company tools, equipment, and vehiclesManage Planning & DocumentationComplete daily reports, timesheets, job logs, and other required documentationReview drawings, specifications, schedules, and project requirementsTrack job progress, labor, subcontractor work, and project-related costsMaintain accurate and organized project documentationSupport material planning and coordination to ensure crews have what they need to perform efficientlyLead & Develop the TeamProvide day-to-day leadership and direction to field crews and subcontractorsSet clear expectations for safety, productivity, quality, and professionalismCoach team members and provide ongoing performance feedbackPromote accountability, teamwork, and strong communication across the jobsiteLead by example and help maintain a positive, results-driven work environmentWhat You Bring5+ years of experience supervising commercial construction projectsCommercial HVAC, Plumbing, Mechanical, or MEP experience strongly preferredProven experience leading field crews and managing day-to-day jobsite operationsStrong understanding of construction scheduling, sequencing, manpower planning, and cost controlAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentsStrong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office and construction/project management technologyOSHA 30 preferredValid driver's license and reliable transportationWhat We OfferCompetitive compensation based on experienceMedical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchPaid time off and paid holidaysOngoing training and professional development opportunitiesOpportunities for continued career growth within a growing organizationA team-focused environment where your leadership and experience make an impactReady to Build With Us?If you're an experienced field leader who takes pride in running safe, organized, and productive jobsites, we want to hear from you.
