Job Description  

  • Manage and schedule bridge foremen and subcontractors
  • Assist estimators and engineers with quantities and productions
  • Manage all the construction activities of the project in accordance with contract specifications and drawings and in full compliance with applicable safety and environmental regulations
  • Execute construction activities in compliance with the applicable schedule and budget
  • Review project performance on a continuing basis and recommend to project manager corrective actions as required
  • Implement the Company policies and procedures as required
  • Assist with On-the-Job Training

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years of bridge experience in Heavy/Highway/Bridge construction
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to include strong verbal and written communication
  • Must possess knowledge of FDOT contracts, specifications, and reports
  • Must be able to think independently and solve problems effectively
  • Must be able to interpret crane load charts
  • Must be able to erect/set grade for bridge deck screed
  • Must possess knowledge of proper crane hand signals and proper rigging techniques
  • OSHA Competent person certification
  • Must have an excellent driving record
