We are seeking a dynamic, experienced, and motivated individual to join our team as a Permanent Superintendent in the Construction industry. Responsibilities

As a Permanent Superintendent, you will be responsible for:

1. Supervising all construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and meeting all contractual obligations.
2. Coordinating and overseeing contractors, workers, and subcontractors on-site, ensuring that all work is carried out according to plans and specifications.
3. Managing the construction of roads, highways, and utilities in compliance with TxDOT specifications and guidelines.
4. Overseeing concrete and drainage work, ensuring that all work meets or exceeds quality standards.
5. Conducting regular inspections of construction sites, ensuring that all safety regulations and guidelines are strictly followed.
6. Communicating effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress.
7. Resolving on-site issues, emergencies, and disputes, ensuring that all work is completed on time and within budget.
8. Planning and coordinating all labor, material, and equipment needs, ensuring that resources are used efficiently and effectively.
9. Continuously updating knowledge of construction regulations, best practices, and industry trends, ensuring that all work is carried out using the most up-to-date methods and techniques.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent or in a similar role in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience with TxDOT, roadway, highway, road, utilities, concrete, and drainage construction.
3. Extensive knowledge of construction procedures, material, and project management principles.
4. Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
5. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve on-site issues quickly and effectively.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and stakeholders.
7. A strong commitment to safety, with knowledge of construction safety regulations and guidelines.
8. The ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
9. Proficiency in MS Office and construction management software.
10. A Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is preferred.
