My client is seeking a Superintendent to lead field operations for a high-profile luxury hospitality project in Charlotte, NC. This role requires a strong construction leader with experience delivering complex, high-end hotel projects and managing large-scale construction activities through completion.

The company is recognised for delivering complex hospitality, multifamily, mixed-use, and historic redevelopment projects across multiple markets throughout the Midwest and Southeast.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Superintendent will be:

• Oversee daily field operations for a luxury boutique hotel redevelopment project in Charlotte, NC.
• Lead construction activities on a complex adaptive reuse project involving a historic 100-year-old structure.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, and project stakeholders to maintain schedule, quality, and safety standards.
• Manage project execution from current construction phases through anticipated completion.
• Monitor project progress and proactively address field challenges associated with high-end finishes and historic renovation work.
• Collaborate closely with project management and client teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Maintain strong communication across all levels of the project team.
• Drive productivity and accountability on a project valued between $60M and $80M.

Profile

The successful Superintendent will have:

• Superintendent experience on commercial construction projects.
• Strong hospitality construction experience required, preferably delivering luxury or high-end hotel projects.
• Experience leading large, complex projects valued at $20M+.
• Proven ability to manage sophisticated construction scopes and multiple trade partners.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Experience with adaptive reuse, historic renovation, or redevelopment projects is highly preferred.
• Ability to work effectively within an active project environment and solve complex field challenges.
• Commitment to quality, safety, and schedule performance.
