We are seeking a seasoned Superintendent with a strong background in the heavy civil construction industry to join our dynamic team. This role is critical to our organization's success and requires a professional who can manage construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of managing complex construction projects successfully.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate and supervise the activities of subcontractors, ensuring all work is performed according to plans and specifications.
• Implement and monitor quality control programs to ensure projects meet or exceed client expectations.
• Develop and implement safety programs to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Manage project risks, including identification, analysis, and mitigation strategies.
• Monitor progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure project stays on track and within scope.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and team members.
• Resolve any issues or disputes that arise during the construction process in a timely and effective manner.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in construction management or a related field.
• Experience with excavating, demolition, paving, concrete, highways, roadways, etc.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety protocols.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Proficient in project management software and technology.
• Certification in construction safety or project management is a plus.
