The Superintendent - Commercial Construction - Ashland, VA will be responsible for:

• Lead all on-site construction activities from project startup through completion.
• Enforce and maintain jobsite safety standards and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and daily field operations.
• Manage project schedules and proactively address delays or obstacles.
• Oversee quality control and ensure all work meets project specifications.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, manpower logs, progress photos, and field documentation using Procore.
• Review and coordinate RFIs, submittals, and field questions with project management.
• Track and communicate project constraints, schedule impacts, and key field decisions.
• Participate in owner meetings and provide detailed project status updates.
• Manage material deliveries, equipment needs, and site logistics.
• Coordinate municipal inspections and ensure corrective actions are completed.
• Prepare work areas for upcoming trades and maintain a clean, organized jobsite.
• Support successful project closeout and turnover activities.

A successful Superintendent - Commercial Construction - Ashland, VA should have:

• Previous experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects.
• Strong understanding of commercial construction methods, sequencing, and jobsite management.
• Experience overseeing subcontractors, schedules, inspections, and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Proficiency with construction management software, preferably Procore.

• Base Salary: $70,000 - $115,000
