Superintendent - Commercial ConstructionOur client is a small and highly reputable general contractor with a strong presence in Ohio. Their projects include ground-up builds and renovations across multiple sectors, including a strong portfolio of public work, retail, office, etc. The company offers excellent career growth opportunity, and they are looking to hire a Superintendent that wants to grow into a future leader within the organization.As a Superintendent, you'll be the on-site leader responsible for driving project execution and maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Key responsibilities include:Oversee daily operations on commercial job sitesCoordinate subcontractors, vendors, and inspections to maintain schedule and qualityEnforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with OSHA and company standardsCommunicate regularly with project managers, clients, and field teamsMaintain accurate documentation including daily reports, safety audits, and as-built recordsMonitor quality control and proactively resolve field issuesLead site meetings and ensure alignment across all tradesMentor junior field staff and promote a positive job site cultureA successful Superintendent - Commercial Construction should have:Strong experience as a Senior Superintendent in commercial constructionProven track record managing complex, multi-phase projectsStrong understanding of construction sequencing, budgeting, and trade coordinationExcellent communication and leadership skillsProficiency with construction management softwareOSHA 30 certification preferredCompetitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience.Vehicle allowance, retirement plans.Generous PTO to support work-life balance.Opportunity to work with a highly respected organization in the construction industry.Collaborative company culture with opportunities for professional development.
