The Superintendent is responsible for running a successful project from the field including; site safety, logistics, project schedule, sub-contractors, etc. They will also be responsible for some Assistant Project Management responsibilities including change orders requests, RFI's.
Client Details
Our client is a growing General Contractor in South Florida with a lot of Miami work in the pipeline. They focus mainly on interiors projects. but also smaller ground up for (doctors offices, religious facilities, restaurants and retail).
Description
- Run and maintain a successful commercial project day to day
- Run OAC Meetings and tool box talks
- Coordinate with sub-contractors, architects, engineers, owners and PM on job
- Update project milestones and schedule
- Manage or support the change management process, by updating logs, routing source documents to vendors, obtaining pricing, developing estimates and proposals, wiring change orders and other related activities.
- Establish, monitor, communicate, and maintain project schedules utilizing contemporary scheduling software.
- Maintain and regularly produce reports utilizing a combination of Procore Project Management Software and the Microsoft Office programs
Profile
- 7+ years of experience in commercial construction
- 4 year degree; construction management, engineering, architecture or similar (Preferred)
- Experience working on interior renovations up to $1M to $5M With Class A Finishes
- 3 + years leading commercial construction projects
- Ground Up Project experience (PREFERRED)
- Ability to cover Palm Beach and Martin Counties
