Job Description
Superintendent
The Superintendent will report directly to Project Management leadership and be responsible for day-to-day field execution across commercial construction projects. Manage all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking through turnover. Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure milestone achievement. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspections, and site logistics. Enforce safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment. Monitor project quality and ensure work is completed to specifications. Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or budget. Communicate project progress with project management, ownership, and stakeholders.

For the Superintendent, we are seeking: 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Assistant Superintendent on commercial construction projects. Ground-up commercial construction experience required. Strong understanding of scheduling, safety, and field operations. Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple trades. Ability to maintain project quality while driving schedule performance. Excellent communication and leadership skills. Proficiency with construction management technology and project reporting tools. Local market experience strongly preferred. Experience with mixed commercial projects preferred. Candidates whose background is primarily multifamily construction will not be the ideal fit. Average tenure of 3+ years for each company.
