Lead all on-site construction activities for corporate interior buildout projects from mobilization through closeout. Promote and enforce a proactive safety culture while ensuring compliance across all subcontractors and site personnel. Coordinate daily field operations to maintain schedule milestones, quality standards, and budget objectives. Partner with Project Managers to develop and execute project schedules, sequencing plans, and logistical strategies. Manage subcontractor performance, ensuring work is completed efficiently, safely, and to specification. Maintain detailed daily reports, site documentation, and project records. Review construction documents, identify potential issues proactively, and implement solutions before they impact the project. Oversee punch list completion, commissioning activities, and successful project turnover to owners and architects. Coordinate site logistics, temporary facilities, utilities, and procurement of long-lead materials. Foster strong relationships with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal team members.

A successful Superintendent - Commercial Interiors - Alexandria, VA should have: 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent managing interior office construction projects. 5+ years of experience within commercial general contracting. Strong understanding of construction methods, architectural design, engineering principles, and building systems. Proven ability to read, interpret, and coordinate construction drawings and project documentation.
