Job Description
As a Superintendent - Construction - Bronx, you will be responsible for:
- Managing daily field operations on affordable housing renovation projects
- Overseeing occupied rehab work within active multifamily buildings
- Supervising subcontractors, trades, vendors, and field personnel
- Coordinating interior apartment renovations, common-area improvements, and building upgrades
- Maintaining project schedules and driving critical milestones
- Coordinating construction activities to minimize disruption to existing tenants
- Managing site logistics, deliveries, and subcontractor sequencing
- Conducting quality control inspections throughout construction
- Reviewing drawings, specifications, and scopes of work
- Coordinating with Project Managers, architects, consultants, and ownership teams
- Maintaining daily reports and project documentation
- Managing inspections, punch lists, and project closeout
- Enforcing jobsite safety and OSHA requirements

The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have:
- 5+ years of Superintendent experience within construction
- Affordable housing experience strongly preferred
- Occupied rehabilitation experience required
- Experience with multifamily interior renovations, apartment rehabs, unit renovations, and common-area improvements
- Strong understanding of working within active and occupied residential buildings
- Ability to coordinate multiple trades while maintaining project schedules
- Experience working with tenants, property management teams, and project stakeholders
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and site logistics
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred
