Our client is a premier luxury residential builder specializing in ground-up custom homes, estate residences, and architect-driven residential projects. Their work features complex architectural details, custom millwork, high-end finishes, and the level of craftsmanship expected within the Greenwich luxury residential market.
Job Description
As a Superintendent - Construction - Greenwich, you will be responsible for:
- Managing all day-to-day field operations on ground-up custom home projects
- Overseeing construction from sitework and foundations through final completion
- Supervising subcontractors, trades, vendors, and site personnel
- Maintaining project schedules and driving critical milestones
- Coordinating with Project Managers, architects, interior designers, engineers, and homeowners
- Managing custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, tile, metalwork, and specialty finish installations
- Reviewing architectural drawings, specifications, and shop drawings
- Coordinating material deliveries and site logistics
- Conducting quality control inspections throughout all phases of construction
- Ensuring architectural details and custom finishes meet project expectations
- Identifying and resolving field issues proactively
- Maintaining daily reports and project documentation
- Managing punch-list completion and homeowner turnover
- Enforcing jobsite safety and OSHA requirements

The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have:
- 5+ years of Superintendent experience within residential construction
- Extensive experience with ground-up custom home construction
- Proven experience with high-end luxury homes, estates, or architect-driven residences
- Strong knowledge of residential construction from excavation and foundations through finishes
- Experience managing custom millwork, cabinetry, architectural woodwork, stone, tile, and specialty finishes
- Experience working directly with homeowners, architects, and interior designers
- Strong understanding of luxury residential construction sequencing
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
- Proven ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain demanding schedules
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred
