Due to continued growth and a robust project pipeline, they are seeking a DOB Licensed Superintendent to join their leadership team.As a DOB Licensed Superintendent - Construction - Manhattan, you will be responsible for:Serving as the licensed Site Superintendent for assigned projectsManaging all daily field operations from mobilization through closeoutEnsuring compliance with NYC DOB regulations and permitting requirementsCoordinating subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and field personnelMaintaining and updating project schedules to meet critical milestonesConducting daily safety inspections and enforcing OSHA standardsOverseeing quality control and workmanship throughout constructionReviewing construction drawings, specifications, and project schedulesLeading subcontractor meetings and field coordination effortsManaging site logistics in dense urban environmentsIdentifying and resolving field issues to avoid schedule impactsPreparing daily reports, inspections, and compliance documentationCollaborating with Project Managers, owners, architects, and engineersSupporting project turnover and closeout activitiesA successful DOB Licensed Superintendent - Construction - Manhattan should have:Active NYC Department of Buildings (DOB) Superintendent License10+ years of construction supervision experienceProven experience managing projects in ManhattanStrong understanding of NYC Building Code and DOB regulationsOSHA 30 Certification requiredExperience with ground-up, high-rise, luxury residential, commercial, or mixed-use projectsDemonstrated success managing multiple trades and subcontractorsStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to maintain project schedules in challenging urban environmentsExperience with quality control, safety compliance, and project documentationStrong problem-solving and decision-making capabilitiesWhat's on offer:Competitive base salary: $160,000 - $220,000+Annual performance bonusComprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) with company matchGenerous paid time off and company holidaysVehicle allowance or transportation reimbursementLong-term pipeline of marquee Manhattan projectsCareer advancement opportunities into Senior Superintendent and Operations leadership rolesProfessional development and continuing education supportStable and financially strong organizationCollaborative company culture with industry-leading professionalsOpportunity to oversee some of Manhattan's most iconic construction developmentsApply today to join a top-tier NYC contractor and play a key role in shaping Manhattan's skyline through the successful delivery of world-class construction projects.
