Job Description
As a Superintendent - Construction - New Haven, you will be responsible for:
- Managing all day-to-day field operations from project start through completion
- Supervising subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel
- Maintaining project schedules and driving milestone completion
- Coordinating with Project Managers, architects, engineers, and ownership teams
- Conducting daily safety meetings and enforcing OSHA compliance
- Reviewing project plans, specifications, and construction documents
- Managing site logistics, material deliveries, and workforce planning
- Performing quality control inspections throughout all phases of construction
- Tracking project progress and identifying potential delays
- Resolving field issues proactively and efficiently
- Maintaining daily reports, site logs, and project documentation
- Coordinating inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities

The Successful Applicant
- 5+ years of Superintendent experience in construction
- Experience managing commercial, multifamily, mixed-use, or institutional projects
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing and field operations
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings
- Experience managing subcontractors and maintaining project schedules
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Working knowledge of project safety requirements and OSHA standards
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with Procore or similar construction management software preferred
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred
