We're looking for an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee commercial interiors projects throughout New York City, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards. Description
- Manage all day-to-day site operations from mobilization through project completion
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel
- Drive project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive job site
- Conduct quality control inspections and oversee punch list completion
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, clients, architects, and design teams
- Resolve field issues quickly to keep projects moving forward
Profile
A successful Superintendent should have:
- Proven experience as a Superintendent on commercial interiors projects
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and site logistics
- Experience managing multiple trades and subcontractors in occupied and active environments
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of NYC construction practices and safety requirements
- Hands-on, proactive, and highly organized approach to project delivery
