Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to support a specialized construction group focused on smaller-scale, facilities-driven projects (typically under $50M). This role is based at Denver International Airport (DEN) and involves managing multiple on-call and active projects simultaneously.

This position offers a diverse mix of project types, including renovations, system upgrades, maintenance work, and design-build problem solving. The Superintendent will play a key role in leading field operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects are executed safely, on time, and to quality standards.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily onsite at Denver International Airport
  • Fast-paced setting with multiple concurrent projects

  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and varying jobsite environments

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day field operations across multiple small to mid-sized projects
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors on active and on-call work
  • Ensure all work is completed safely, on schedule, and within budget
  • Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution across concurrent projects
  • Support facilities-driven scopes including upgrades, repairs, and new construction
  • Collaborate with internal teams on design-build and problem-solving efforts
  • Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and cost tracking
  • Monitor quality control and ensure all work meets project standards
  • Lead coordination meetings and maintain clear communication with stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with all site and airport-specific requirements

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of construction experience with field leadership responsibilities
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, building systems, and facility operations
  • Experience in renovation, maintenance, or mission-critical environments preferred
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Project, Word, SharePoint)
  • Valid driver's license required

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in airport, healthcare, federal, or other highly regulated environments
  • Industry certifications such as DBIA, LEED, or similar

The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $130000.00/yr.
