Job Details
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Superintendent for one of our clients in Colorado. They have openings in Denver, Rocky Mountains, and Grand Junction. This role is integral to the successful completion of our projects, as you will be the one to oversee all on-site operations. If you have a proven track record of coordinating materials, managing teams, creating cost estimates, and ensuring quality control, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
1. Coordinating materials and ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
2. Managing a team of workers, setting work schedules, and ensuring tasks are completed on time.
3. Creating cost estimates for labor, supplies, and materials.
4. Collaborating with clients and project managers to ensure projects meet their specifications.
5. Hiring subcontractors and managing their work to ensure it meets our standards.
6. Overseeing contract management and ensuring all contracts are adhered to.
7. Managing risks and implementing risk management strategies to minimize potential issues.
8. Ensuring quality control and making sure all work meets or exceeds our standards.
9. Budgeting for projects and ensuring they stay within the set budget.
10. Scheduling tasks and ensuring they are completed on time.
11. Ensuring safety management protocols are followed to protect the wellbeing of all staff.
12. Leading the team effectively to promote a positive and productive work environment.
13. Managing materials and ensuring they are used efficiently and effectively.
14. Overseeing new construction projects and ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Qualifications:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in materials coordination, team management, cost estimation, and quality control.
3. Experience in managing contracts and subcontractors.
4. Strong risk management skills.
5. Excellent budgeting and scheduling abilities.
6. A strong commitment to safety management.
7. Exceptional team leadership skills.
8. Experience in materials management.
9. A track record of overseeing successful new construction projects.
10. Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and project managers.
