Description
The Superintendent will report to Operations Leadership and work closely with Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Lead and oversee all field operations on commercial office interior, SCIF, and renovation projects
- Manage subcontractors, site staff, and project schedules to ensure successful project delivery
- Coordinate labour, materials, equipment, and site logistics throughout construction
- Maintain site safety standards and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Serve as the primary onsite contact for clients and key project stakeholders
- Complete daily reports, safety documentation, and project records accurately and on time
- Drive quality control processes, pre-punch inspections, and project closeout activities
Profile
For the Superintendent we are seeking:
- 8+ years of experience as a lead Superintendent within commercial construction
- Proven experience delivering tenant improvement, commercial interiors, retail, and renovation projects
- Experience managing projects valued up to $10M
- Strong subcontractor management and scheduling experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders while maintaining project quality and safety standards
- Excellent client-facing communication skills
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, means and methods, and quality control processes
- Ability to independently resolve complex project challenges and make sound decisions under pressure
- College education preferred; equivalent industry experience will also be considered
