Their reputation is built on excellence in field execution, safety, and dependable project delivery, often within active, occupied campus environments.

Job Description

Our Superintendent will:

    • Lead day-to-day on-site construction operations for K-12 and higher education projects
    • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, trades, and field labor to ensure adherence to project schedules
    • Enforce jobsite safety programs, OSHA requirements, and district-specific safety standards
    • Manage site logistics, material deliveries, and phasing plans to minimize disruption to ongoing school operations
    • Conduct daily site walks, quality control inspections, and progress tracking
    • Coordinate inspection schedules and ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and local codes
    • Work closely with Project Managers on scheduling, RFIs, submittals, and change order execution
    • Maintain clear communication with owners, architects, inspectors, and school administrators
    • Lead subcontractor meetings and maintain daily reports and site documentation
    • Mentor and support Assistant Superintendents or field staff as projects scale

The Successful Applicant

The ideal Superintendent will:

    • 5-10+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction
    • Prior experience with K-12, higher education, or public-sector projects strongly preferred
    • Proven ability to manage complex schedules in occupied or phased construction environments
    • Strong understanding of construction sequencing, means and methods
    • Excellent leadership and subcontractor coordination skills
    • Deep commitment to jobsite safety and quality control
    • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar field management tools
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to represent the company professionally on-site
