Job Description

The Superintendent will be responsible for:

• Managing all day-to-day site operations from project start through completion.
• Coordinating and supervising subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure schedule adherence.
• Maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance on site.
• Driving project schedules and proactively identifying solutions to construction challenges.
• Conducting site meetings and communicating project progress with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensuring work is completed according to contract documents, specifications, and client expectations.
• Monitoring manpower, material deliveries, and site logistics to maximize efficiency.
• Partnering with project management teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Maintaining detailed project documentation, reports, and field records.
• Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners throughout the construction process.

The Successful Applicant

The Superintendent must have:

• Proven experience as a Superintendent on commercial, institutional, public sector, or government construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, scheduling, and site logistics.
• Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and multiple trades simultaneously.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Experience delivering projects on schedule and maintaining high-quality standards.
• Proficiency with construction management software and project reporting tools is preferred.
• Stable work history with a track record of successfully completed projects.
• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is advantageous but not required.
