Description

• Lead day-to-day field operations from project startup through closeout.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to ensure project success.
• Maintain project schedules and coordinate work activities to meet milestone dates.
• Enforce jobsite safety standards and promote a culture of safety and accountability.
• Monitor project quality and ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, architects, and consultants throughout construction.
• Manage site logistics, material deliveries, and workforce planning.
• Identify and resolve field issues to minimize project delays and maintain productivity.
• Support project documentation, reporting, and progress tracking.

A successful Superintendent - Federal Work should have:

Must-Have Qualifications

• Superintendent experience managing commercial, institutional, or public construction projects.
• Strong ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage field operations.
• Knowledge of construction scheduling, safety practices, and quality control.
• Ability to effectively communicate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel throughout Western Massachusetts and Northwest Connecticut project locations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on federal construction projects.
• Background in renovation, restoration, historic preservation, demolition, or sitework projects.
• Experience leading public-sector, municipal, or public safety projects.
• Stable work history demonstrating long-term commitment and project success.
