Job Description
Lead day-to-day field operations from project startup through closeout. Manage subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to ensure project success. Maintain project schedules and coordinate work activities to meet milestone dates. Enforce jobsite safety standards and promote a culture of safety and accountability. Monitor project quality and ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications. Coordinate with project managers, clients, architects, and consultants throughout construction. Manage site logistics, material deliveries, and workforce planning. Identify and resolve field issues to minimize project delays and maintain productivity. Support project documentation, reporting, and progress tracking.

The Successful Applicant
A successful Superintendent - Federal Work should have: Must-Have Qualifications Superintendent experience managing commercial, institutional, or public construction projects. Strong ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage field operations. Knowledge of construction scheduling, safety practices, and quality control. Ability to effectively communicate with project teams, clients, and stakeholders. Willingness to travel throughout Western Massachusetts and Northwest Connecticut project locations. Preferred Qualifications Experience working on federal construction projects. Background in renovation, restoration, historic preservation, demolition, or sitework projects. Experience leading public-sector, municipal, or public safety projects. Stable work history demonstrating long-term commitment and project success.
