Grading Superintendent Overall responsibility for the successful completion of turn-key grading projects including utilities, on time and within budget. Directly supervise and coordinate activities of construction grading work. Oversee the production and performance of multiple crews and supervisors as they operate one or several types of equipment. Team member will have 5+ years experience as a grading superintendent. Interactions will include in-person meetings, digital communications and phone communicationOperate equipment as neededCommunicate time away from work with your team leader and other team members with sufficient notice to make plans for changing personnel to focus on the prioritiesWillingness to work hours as required Qualifications:A high school diploma or GED is preferredMust be able to understand work directions and communicate effectively with jobsite supervisors and fellow team membersMust have strong coordination, time management, active listening, communication, critical thinking and reasoning skillsWorking knowledge of Trimble GPS systemsKnowledge or erosion control installation, maintenance and documentationKnowledge or water, sewer and storm drain installationMust be able to effectively use all required PPE and lift up to fifty pounds. Strenuous physical demands are required to safely perform the essential functions associated with this position. Must be able to safely operate all involved equipment and tools.
