This is a true ground-up leadership role overseeing a flagship mixed-use project in one of Chicago's most dynamic neighborhoods. The Superintendent will take full ownership of field operations-from sitework through final turnover-while managing tight urban logistics and coordinating multiple trades in a fast-paced environment.

Description

  • Lead all onsite construction activities for ground-up commercial/mixed-use projects
  • Manage subcontractors, scheduling, and site logistics in dense urban environments
  • Drive schedule adherence, safety, and quality control initiatives
  • Coordinate inspections, permitting authorities, and design teams
  • Maintain daily reports, lookaheads, and project documentation
  • Partner with the PM on budget awareness and cost control

Profile

  • 7+ years Superintendent experience with ground-up commercial projects
  • Strong Chicago urban construction experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Procore/Bluebeam or similar tools
  • Ability to manage multi-trade coordination and fast schedules
