This role is for a hands-on Superintendent to lead large-scale ground-up commercial construction projects across Northern Virginia, with full ownership of site operations. You'll manage everything from scheduling and subcontractor coordination to safety, quality, and client collaboration on high-impact builds.

Description
The Superintendent will be responsible for:
- Leading all on-site construction activities for ground-up commercial projects
- Overseeing daily site operations, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination
- Ensuring quality control, safety compliance, and OSHA standards are maintained
- Reading and interpreting construction documents and conducting construct ability reviews
- Managing material procurement and project logistics
- Maintaining detailed daily logs and progress reporting
- Collaborating closely with project managers, owners, architects, and stakeholders
- Driving project timelines to meet deadlines and budget expectations
Profile
The Superintendent should have:
- 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a General Contractor
- Proven ability to lead ground-up projects valued at $20M+ (ideally up to $40M+)
- Experience in K-12, municipal, or similar institutional projects preferred
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and site management
- OSHA 30-hour certification required
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and construction tech platforms
- Ability to work in Northern Virginia or nearby Maryland (DMV region)
- Strong leadership and communication skills with project stakeholders
