Description

The Superintendent will be responsible for:

  • Leading all on-site construction activities for ground-up commercial projects
  • Overseeing daily site operations, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination
  • Ensuring quality control, safety compliance, and OSHA standards are maintained
  • Reading and interpreting construction documents and conducting construct ability reviews
  • Managing material procurement and project logistics
  • Maintaining detailed daily logs and progress reporting
  • Collaborating closely with project managers, owners, architects, and stakeholders
  • Driving project timelines to meet deadlines and budget expectations

Profile

The Superintendent should have:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a General Contractor
  • Proven ability to lead ground-up projects valued at $20M+ (ideally up to $40M+)
  • Experience in K-12, municipal, or similar institutional projects preferred
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, and site management
  • OSHA 30-hour certification required
  • Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, and construction tech platforms
  • Ability to work in Northern Virginia or nearby Maryland (DMV region)
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with project stakeholders
