Job Description

Manage all on-site construction activities from groundbreaking through project completion. Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field teams to ensure schedules are achieved. Maintain project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Conduct daily site inspections and enforce safety regulations and company procedures. Collaborate with Project Managers, Architects, Engineers, and ownership teams. Review drawings, specifications, and construction documents to ensure compliance. Identify and resolve construction issues proactively to minimize delays. Lead site meetings and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders. Oversee quality control and ensure projects are delivered to the highest standard.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Superintendent should have: 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent with a General Contractor. Proven experience delivering ground-up construction projects from start to finish. Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, safety regulations, and building codes. Ability to lead field teams and effectively coordinate multiple subcontractors. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Experience with commercial, multifamily, mixed-use, healthcare, education, or institutional projects is highly desirable. OSHA certification preferred. Local experience within New York, Westchester County, or surrounding markets is advantageous.
