About Our Client

Our client is a top 400 ENR commercial General Contractor with 50 years experience in the SoCal market. The team prides themselves on delivering high-end tenant improvement and ground up construction projects across Public Works, Education, and Healthcare while maintaining a family-oriented culture. The team enjoys a laid-back environment, strong work-life balance, and the opportunity to work on some of the region's most exciting projects while strengthening client partnerships. The team are currently expanding the field operations team due to very healthy backlog into 2028 already, and are looking to hire a Superintendent for their healthcare division.

Job Description

The Superintendent will be responsible for the following:

• Manage and supervise construction projects for public clients, ensuring timely and quality completion.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders to maintain project schedules.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards on-site.
• Monitor project budgets and control costs effectively.
• Maintain clear communication with clients and provide regular project updates.
• Oversee inspections and ensure all work meets quality standards and specifications.
• Resolve any project-related issues promptly and professionally.
• Maintain detailed records of project progress, including daily reports and schedules.
• Managing all field operations from groundbreaking through closeout
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and project stakeholders
• Maintaining project schedules and driving production milestones
• Enforcing site safety programs and compliance requirements
• Leading weekly site meetings and progress reporting
• Working closely with Project Managers to resolve field issues and maintain project momentum
• Managing inspections, punch lists, and project turnover

The Successful Applicant

• 10+ years of GC experience in commercial construction; HCAI experience required (TI or ground up)
• 2+ years of lead Superintendent experience
• Local to the LA/OC region preferred, though relocators will be considered
• Proficient in Procore or equivalent project management software
• Ability to create and execute schedule utilizing P6 or equivalent software
• Prior experience with internal team leadership responsibilities
• Strong relationships with local trade partners
